What is stored, and what is not.
Website policy · revised 18 October 2026
Current configuration
This release uses no analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The consent interface remains functional even though no optional provider is connected. There are no automatic requests to LinkedIn or other social networks.
Essential preference storage
av_consent_v1 is a first-party localStorage item, not an HTTP cookie. It remembers essential/analytics/marketing choices, a policy version, a decision timestamp and expiry. It lasts up to 180 days unless you clear browser storage. Essential is always on; analytics defaults off. Marketing is unavailable because no marketing tool exists.
Choosing and changing preferences
Accept all records agreement to the available optional category; it does not install an analytics service. Reject optional keeps optional categories off. Customize lets you save analytics off or on. Cookie settings in every footer reopens preferences. Withdraw optional consent disables future optional tracking. No optional trackers or cookies exist to remove in the current release.
Withdrawal and future integrations
A future optional provider must be registered with consent-aware start/stop behaviour and cookie cleanup before deployment. This project has an empty provider registry. Withdrawing consent cannot remove data already transmitted by a future provider; its applicable deletion process would need to be described before activation.
Browser limits and hosting
If localStorage is unavailable, choices apply for the current page and the banner may return on navigation. You can clear storage in your browser. Hosting may process technical/security data under its own service configuration; no claim is made that a browser preference prevents essential security processing. Questions: hello@augustvision.com.
